he was born on the carabalt archipelago in the east blue, on february 6th, 1505 at 1:56am. to his parents, pearl an ex-marine turned nurse, and carver freed, a notorious grandline pirate with a bounty of 750,000,000 berries.carver was only in wander's life for the first two years, he was a man who valued his personal freedom above all else, however selfish that may be. he returned to the sea, and to the grandline. however, under mysterious circumstances, unknown even to the marines— he hasn't been an active in almost a decade. leaving many to suspect that he is dead.wander's extended family is quite large, her two grandparents having six children total. her grandfather, bones, was once a marine, a powerful martial artist who made a name for himself because on his immense strength and rare form, with a desire to help people and use his power for good, he enlisted in the marines. he went up the ranks quickly, but with that he was exposed to the worst realities of the marines. the corruption, the oppression, the greed. he became disillusioned by these discoveries. the bad outweighed the good, and plagued him terribly. but, his final straw came when he met tavern, a woman who'd escaped after being a slave to celestial dragons. through her, he was face to face with the real atrocities of the world. the two clicked, and bones deserted the marines, refusing to rank up anymore and become one of the world government’s showdogs. they moved to the east blue from the grand line to start a life together.wander grew up in appletown on lavenderhill island, one of five islands included on the carabalt archipelago. its one of the only industrialized islands in the east blue. with a large city and lots of factories. with that, growing up wander saw lots of wealth inequality, and general economic struggle. appletown where she was born and raised, being one of the towns near the city where most of the workers and the factories are. while the wealthy got to live on the higher parts of the island, in the hills, safe from the factory smog, wander, his family, and others were stuck with murky and smog-filled air.wander had a pretty basic childhood, spending a lot of his time playing in the woods, exploring, collecting shiny rocks, playing with stray cats and stuff. they were a very cautious kid, never straying too far from home, or getting into crazy shenanigans that could get him hurt. she had a lot of cousins around her age, but preferred to play alone. her family was big, messy, chaotic and full of clashing personalities. but they cared for each other very deeply. wander often felt isolated or alienated from his family, like there was a level of understanding – of belonging, he just couldn’t get to.she also grew up entirely around pirates. her four uncles forming the blackstone pirates sometime before she was born.her mother, pearl, worked very hard to support her child. after giving up a career in the marines, for similar reasons to her father– but also her relationship and child with carver, she became a nurse at the marine base on their island. she tried her best to be a good mother, but was often absent. physically when she worked, and or emotionally. because it was just the two of them in wander’s early years, they were closer. but, their relationship became more distant and strained as wander got older.when wander was 12 years old, her entire life took a drastic turn for the worst. over the years, wander’s hometown had been slowly gathering wealth, taking care of each other and gaining financial independence. no longer relying on the factories that kept them under the nobles’ control. the blackstone pirates and their piracy was a large factor in the town’s prosperity.the nobles worried that what was happening in this town, could set a precedent for other towns and cities around the east blue–they decided the only way to stay in powerl, was to crush everything they had built for themselves. they hired pirates to destroy, devastate and raid appletown. the blackstone pirates tried their hardest to fight back, but they were outnumbered and outsmarted, they never stood a chance. in the chaos of it all, wander got injured very badly, wounding her right shoulder blade.after the pirates left the town in ruins, in came the marines. under the guise of protection, enforcing the law, they came and began to arrest the already wounded, downtrodden blackstone pirates. wander’s four uncles. but, that wasn’t the end of it. the town didn’t even have the chance to pick up the pieces when the marines came marching back in.they had the four blackstone pirate brothers in tow, still healing from their injuries, and shackled. the youngest of the four, gray, had a wild heart, he was reckless, hot-headed. he was a nuisance to the marines the entire time they had him in custody. he never stopped fighting. so, they chose to make an example out of him. that day, wander’s uncle gray was publicly executed in appletown. the final nail in the coffin, to remind the people that they were truly powerless.wander’s family hasn’t been the same since.

wander is one of two last remaining living members of the white-eyed tribe, the other being their estranged pirate father. wander doesn’t know anything about her heritage until she reunites with him during the two years the straw hats are apart.the white-eyed tribe are an ancient race of humans who are characterized by, of course, white or silver eyes, brown skin and some or complete white hair. they have become practically extinct due to the secret but persistent workings of the world government, due of the role their people played during the void century. also, because of this, all research and knowledge on them has been purposefully, and deliberately hidden or obscured.

during the time of the great kingdom, at the start of the void century the first one eyed king was born within the tribe.singlehandedly he took the world by storm with his ideals and strength and prowess, the embodiment of the goddess itani the tribe they worshipped. he even had the one white eye to match.he allied with joyboy, who went on to become the first ever pirate, and the one eyed king was one of his nakama, one of his greatest companions, and bestest friends.their prophecized relationship is one of the key things that will bring the truth of the void century to light.and their connection & partnership is crucial in making way for a new free-er world.

wander is not a devil fruit user. however, he is one of the crew's main combatants on par with zoro and sanji.wander has all three haki's! :3her biggest weakness in battle, is being a pacifist by nature. she doesn't actively seek out fights or battles, but knows that in this world violence is necessary to protect whats important to you.she never starts a fight, but will always finish one.he's a martial artist, fighting with the lost art, 'kagami kenpo'.it was created by martial arts legends, two brothers, kyou and kane. kagami kenpo is the perfect mix of offense and defense, and it’s main, most powerful and unique capability is the ability to nullify, reflect, redirect attacks. it has fluid movements, and an emphasis on adapting and becomes a new form in itself based on it’s current user.kagami kenpo is considered a lost martial art due to the fact the brothers who created it could never find pupils who were capable of mastering or even understand and learn it at a basic level. that was until wander's grandfather washed up on their island as a toddler, and ended up becoming their sole pupil who was able to master their form.wander was taught everything they know from their grandfather.pre timeskip, wander's way of fighting is a lot less refined. with very little strategy used, her laziness being her downfall. ( lol ) primarly she relied on her instinctual abilities. trusting her body, relying on initial gut reactions. he prioritizes evading over blocking, using her agility to her advantage. she uses her natural strength to her advantage, rarely puts any effort in training or getting stronger. though, she does improve with every battle. avoids fights more actively, and actually dislikes fighting. often he hesitates, or holds back.post timeskip, after wander trains directly with kane and kyou, his use of kagami kenpo becomes a whole lot more skilled, balanced, and powerful. she's mostly mastered it, and is overall a much more formidable opponent. he has come more to terms with the fact that she fights for a reason, and chooses to be a more active participant in battles. still, he doesn't strike first.either way, she's never taken fighting too seriously, often smiling or taunting her opponents with her lazy-calm disposition. they're often not taken seriously or underestimated, frustrating and infuriating with her carelessness. y'know, only for her opponents to get their shit rocked. ( usually )

due to wander's white eyed tribe heritage, she's been unknowingly harnessing observation haki since she was young.once she meets and trains with carver freed during the 2-year timeskip, she properly masters it along with the other forms of haki, and another tribe specific ability.sorai is a versatile and formidable ability unique to the white-eyed tribe that allows its user to manipulate one’s life force, also known as aura. everyone has aura, but only the tribe is able to use it to it’s utmost power.

SORAI CORE PRINCIPLES— aura manifestation: the basic ability to project aura outside of the body.— aura manipulation: the ability to manipulate aura for various uses— aura enhancement: using aura to enhance physical abilities, strength, speed, endurance and power. but also sight, and hearing— aura sensing: detecting presence, strength, emotions, and intentions of others through their aura— one of the main reasons the white eyed tribe / the one eyed king is so dangerous to the world gov. is due to the “nen” aspects of sorai. and the fact that the only real limit to what the one eyed king can do / create using their own lifeforce is imagination..the one eyed king is able to tap into every nen ability, enhancement, transmutation, emission, manipulation, specialization, and most important of all, conjuring.the one eyed king can conjure up an ancient weapon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that uses all of the sorai techniquesthis is exactly what almost turned the tide in the century war. and, why the white eyed tribe was not allowed to live on.

wander left his home island at the age of fifteen, determined to find himself and escape from the gloom, and the tragedy that seemed to linger at home. she set sail solo with her only friend, and strongest confidant, her cat, mischief.he was very optimistic, an idealist by nature, beginning this journey was her taking back hope. dreaming that better was out there for them, that there was good to be found in the world, was an act of defiance.their journeys traveling the east blue alone were hard, it was scary and lonely more than it was fun. initially survival was a struggle, she experienced her first real fights. wandering from island to island, growing lonelier and lonelier.
but, wander stuck it out. and, as the time passed things got easier, he met many people, good and bad. kind and dangerous. trustworthy and wicked. he settled into a routine, grew thicker skin and was able to take care of himself. she filled her days with trinket hunting, enjoying nature, leaning into the whimsy in her heart. she fully embraced the unstructured life of sailing solo. but, deep down things were weighing on her, she was getting tired.two years of sailing later, she came across monkey d. luffy in a town called symphony when the crew had stopped at karasu island for supplies. the straw hat crew had been small then, just luffy, zoro and nami. luffy had gotten separated from the other two at the port. so decided to explore on his own, probably looking for something to eat. he found wander, and the two clicked almost immediately. after a day of getting himself involved in wander’s whimsical shenanigans he asked them to join his crew, and on a whim he said sure!after meeting luffy, for the first time in a while wander realized he hadn't been wrong to hold onto hope.
